I wasn't sure if tours were being given at the time but I knew it must have been meant for us to see when the security guard said "Looking for the tour?" I did not hesitate to go in and we were greeted by two women unbeknownst to us, has connections to the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church and Dr. I found the house very easily with free parking available. and Coretta Scott King lived during their time in Montgomery. ![]() We went to Montgomery to visit several of the Civil Rights Museum and points of interest and I knew I wanted to see the Dexter Parsonage to see where Dr. Each section had its own bathroom/showerhouse. E looked to be nice, and most sites overlooked the lake. Sites on the water look pretty, but they had no yard space and sloped down. D was less favorable, although we did prefer it. The premium spots in C were nearly full the whole time (they're more like rv resort sites). During our stay, we noticed that group B fills up quickly. There is one dumpster near the exit of the campground. There are 2 dump stations that have 3 dumps each, although I can't imagine 3 rigs dumping at the same time. There are trails to walk, a marina with a store full of all your camping/swimming/fishing needs, and laundry facilities. Thankfully, it stayed empty the entirety of our stay. There's an inlet that runs alongside the site that had decent size bass and ducks. Our site, D90, was spacious and had beautiful views of Lake Martin. The park is also home to bass fishing tournaments. We enjoyed a free pontoon ride, scavenger hunt, bird watching, trivia night, and nature walk. Although none of the attractions here were open (ice cream shop, ziplines, putt putt), there are activities that the park naturalist puts on for all age groups.
